We are so excited about the upcoming West Seattle Garage Sale! In addition to our bakery pop-up (and, of course, regular garage sale miscellany), we’ll be hosting a pottery sale to benefit Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
All pottery at the Art that Heals sale is made by a local surgeon with a serious pottery hobby. Customers donate the suggested price directly to MSF, show their donation receipt, and take their pot home. All pieces are food safe, lead-free, and microwave/dishwasher safe. These pots offer form, function, and fight frontières to medical access.
She says “Pottery, like medicine, requires patience, a steady touch, and an understanding of form and function.
While I practice in a modern facility, millions lack access to basic care. This project is my way of supporting the medical professionals on the front lines of global crises.”
